Antoine Pinto visited “Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery” at the Event Hall on the second floor of Central Chidlom, exploring the British fashion house’s distinctive creative language through its jewellery. His visit took place before the Bangkok exhibition closed on 23 October 2026.
Beyond his work in Muay Thai, television and entertainment, the visit offered another glimpse of Antoine in a cultural setting, surrounded by designs that use clothing and adornment to express identity and ideas.
Jewellery with a Story to Tell
Curated by the Vivienne Westwood team, the exhibition brought together four decades of archive and runway jewellery. The presentation placed these pieces in context, showing how each contributed to the wider language of the house’s fashion collections.
Eight rooms explored themes ranging from punk origins and imagined worlds to the ecological thinking behind Do It Yourself, historical adornment and the house’s signature Orb emblem.
Garments, photographs, sound and video accompanied the jewellery, inviting visitors to consider how each object relates to the body and to the complete look rather than viewing it in isolation.
Small Details, Distinctive Identity
Vivienne Westwood’s work draws interest from its ability to recast the familiar. Beauty and rebellion can coexist, while historical references find a place in designs that feel contemporary.
For visitors, the exhibition opened a space to consider how a single piece of jewellery can shape an outfit’s character or communicate something about the wearer. Form, material and styling all become part of that expression.
Antoine’s visit brought sport, entertainment and fashion into another shared frame, through an encounter with creative work that has a clear personality and a language of its own.
